Wrong Time Maybe
Was in atlanta and was bored one afternoon. Used to live on the east side so i stopped by Pinups at about 6pm. Pulled up, the front parking lot was full, didnt drive to see the back (maybe i should have) no parking fee and $10 cover. Very strong pat down. Only the main room was open. Drinks were pretty cheap, i believe a hennessey on the rocks was $5. There were probably 5 guys there, all were 50+ and were sitting with a dancer. I sat at the bar and it seemed like EVERY dancer was leaving. Maybe i caught that interesting time between shifts.
Usually this is a win win but today it was a loss. One thing to note is they were actively decorating for a party for one of the dancers. I assume her bday which they were advertizing that night. Maybe all the dancers shifted to evening due to this. Anyway, a dancer stopped by to say hi. She was kind of attractive but way too heavily tattooed for my taste. She almost ran to me which made all the other dancers very upset as they seemed to be bored and getting free drinks from cheap regulars who werent buying dances. She immeduately ordered a $5 water on my tab.
Fine. We talked for a little bit and she said that everyone came in early to get the cheap tip out but no customers so everyone left in the red. She was planning to stay. She offered dances. They were $5 so i got a few. Decent mileage. I stopped her after a good number and gave her a tip (which she asked for). Fine, i would have given that anyway. Decided to leave because it was so dead i felt bad for myself. Maybe another day?
