Where Have All The Good Times Gone??

So. I’ve been going to Hi-Liter for over 20 years. Yes, even before they had VIP. I’m sure everyone reading this will have been to this “Once the Gold Standard of Phoenix clubs”. But, I’ll give the lay out anyway. As you enter, small flat top grill and bar is on the right. Open seating in front of you with the Stage in the back center. To your left is about 10-11 VIP booths.(I didn’t count them). This VIP was expanded from 6 about 3 years ago(only 4 of those 6 were ever used). I sat down and ordered a hamburger & a bottle of water. The burger is $4.50, I was charged $10. So, I guess a bottle of water is $5.50! I gave the waitress a $20, she gave me back $9...I guess my option to tip was already made for me.

Dancer after dancer approached me. Some were ok looking...but, nothing like the day shift used to be. I mean, where have all the “good time girls gone”!! Where is Nikita, Amanda, Charlie,Nikki, & Ryan!! I know why Ryan’s gone...but what about all the other ones. Yes, it’s been awhile since I was in but...WOW!!

Finally I did get a dance from a petite blonde girl. She had pierced nipples ( had I seen that, I wouldn’t have gotten a dance). I believe her name was “Sumatra”, or something like that. Got one dance. She said it was her fourth day working there, or at any club for that matter. After one song I decided to try VIP with her. We are in VIP, I’m about to sit down, when she says, “I usually get $50 a song back here. Or, we can do 3 for $100. I say, “I know dances are $25 a song back here & house charges you $5 a song”.

She says, “so, you don’t want 3 for $100”? I say, “Nope”! And walk back onto the floor. At this point, I’m thinking is this what this place has become?? A club of scam artist dancers?? Then I finally saw ONE girl I used to know. Got a couple of VIP dances from her & left happy.
