I'm Still Wondering Why This Place Gets So Few Reviews.

I went to this place once, when I was an amateur and enjoyed myself. Now that I know better, as a professional I look back at it, as not that great a time. Nonetheless, with some available time to club, and a want to explore something new, I decided to bypass my regular joints for a trip to Booby Trap South, or BT's. This place rarely gets reviews for some reason. I was really looking for an alternative to Booby Trap Doral, someplace not as far a drive, with some new faces. However, all of the Booby Trap locations are all a little bit different and each have their own character. And the character of BTSouth is the young tatted up dancer with a hint of GPS.

Unlike most clubs, BT's really doesn't have its own parking. And really unique amongst clubs around here, BT's isn't hidden away in some industrial area, but rather in a relatively upscale restaurant & shopping area. If you like to do your dirt w/o preying eyes, this is not the place as you have to enter the club, right by the outdoor patio area of a bar. There is valet parking, but aside from that you have to use pay parking from the city or a few nearby lots. You do have to pay the parking, as the city meter maids here are ruthless, even late at night. Admission at night is 10 through Wednesday, and 15 Thursday through the weekend. They DID however accept the free admission coupon off of the website (something that Booby Trap Doral doesn't honor). A beer was 6.00. As you enter the club there is a bar to your right, with a stage in the center. A long floor level stage in the center with two poles, and at the opposite end a second bar with another stage. The girls start off on this far stage, clothed. Move to the floor level stage where they are nude by the end, then finishing on the last bar stage. There is obviously a premium on the last bar area (where the finish) and by time I arrived around 11:45, I had to take a seat at the clothed stage bar. Thursday has a "feature" DJ, which I tend not to like because strip club DJ's who care about being DJ's tend to play for themselves, and cut songs. This guy however, seemed to play the songs at a decent clip and not talk too much. Music is similar to the rest of the Miami Booby Trap clubs, and is urban (meaning rap & reggaeton). The music fits the customers and dancers who tended to be mostly young and Latin. Lots's of female customers. There wasn't a full blown money throwing vibe, but you'd occasionally see some dollars getting poured on a dancer. The girls to make some attempts to dance once they are on the main floor stage. The dancers with few exceptions are young, Latin, thin (but not too thin), tatted up, with a (not overdone) boob job, and overall very pretty (There were at least two bigger/chunky dancers which stuck out, but a nice change of pace). Not the booty paradise of Booby Trap Doral. Girls are comparable to Booby Trap On the River, in that they look very much like/clearly strippers, but a little prettier than BTOTR. Decent number of girls, and actually make the club feel small. There actually are quite a few stunners here, not quite Scarlett's pretty, but there are some lookers. And with that, i.e. young pretty dancers, you do seem to get a bit of GPS from the dancers.

Girls don't circle around like in other tip parade clubs (although on my last visit a few years ago, which was on a Saturday night, it was the worst tip parade I've ever experienced). There is a tip parade, but it is sporadic and manageable. With girls not always coming around for tips, they are also not coming around to hustle dances either. I think I was asked for a dance one time. While the girls were pretty, there was nothing that I just had to have. I wasn't really comfortable in the club, and with no one coming up to me much to get me to make some bad decisions, I decided to leave around 1am, with thoughts of checking out another spot.
