Guess Thursday Nights Aren't Prime Time

I was excited about checking this place out after reading the reviews on here. I headed towards BBR from downtown McAllen, about a 20 minute drive. I walked in around 9 and was immediately dissappointed. I walked to the front counter, and looked towards the stage. There was about a 5 on stage and another 5 sitting with a patron, the only one I saw.

I asked the doorman how many dancers and he replied 3. He said he was trying to get more and I did not stick around to find out. I will give it another shot based the reviews here, but I missed it that night. If you go, bring your own beer. Keep in mind the place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

I went to TexMex from here, much better selection and nicer.
