Extremely Short Visit

I can't remember the exact date when I decided to make a return visit, but it was early the March timeframe. I had a plan, and it was shot the hell in about 3 seconds. I figured I would go to Kelly's Pub and have some wings and then go see another kind of bird, the naked variety of course, on stage.

About the only thing I could comment on is the lack of cars in the parking lot. Regardless, I decided to give it a shot, and this is where my night ended. I walk in and the guy behind the counter asks for $15. As I'm handing him a $20, he asks "And your license, if you have it." I then noticed a scanner on the table next to him and asked "Will it be scanned?" He said "Yes".

It took me only a nano-second to simultaneously extend my arm asking for my $20 bill back and say "I'm not into that shit." Now, I apologize if this has been said here before but if it's something new I just wanted to alert folks. Yes, some care and some don't Me? I'm just not into this data mining bullshit. Just look at what's happening to Facebook now. I'm not going to have my license and other information reside on some strip club owner's PC. I allowed another strip club to swipe a few years back, and I regret doing that. Maybe someday all of the clubs will be this way, but until then I'm not about Big Brother watching me, and I will avoid clubs that require me to do so.
