Friendly Club, But Not A Lot Of Variety If You Go Early
Recently I've hit Little Darlings a few times after having some drinks after work. It is conveniently located near my work. I would go to the Deja Vu down by the Pike Place Market, but I know too many people who work at the Market lol. So basically this is the club I wind up at when I'm not planning to go out.
If you're visiting our fair city I'll let you know that strip clubs here aren't for hanging out with friends and sipping beers like they are elsewhere. Seattle clubs are for getting grinding lap dances and feeling up strippers. In between you get to sip non-alcoholic drinks and watch short, usually uninspired stage shows. So get your drink on first, or enjoy some legal weed, then hit the club and know you're out at least $100 an hour.
So Little Darlings has a decent vibe that is pretty consistent with others in the Deja Vu empire. The canned DJ is annoying. The waitresses and door guys are friendly. You go down a couple of flights of stairs to the basement of a small building in the shadow of Amazon's testicle-shaped headquarters. There is a small stage and the couches are divided into two groups, one in the main room with curtains (signs for $20 dances) and the others are around the corner in a second room (signs for $30 dances). These prices are irrelevant as typically $40 ($30 for some) will buy you a lot of mutual contact. I think they only claim the posted rate on their taxes. The booths are flat bench style seats like you would have in a restaurant booth and all booths have curtains but they only pull them if you're in the main room. In the second room the manager will walk by periodically but doesn't linger. Compared to some other clubs this makes dances feel a little more private. If the club was busy this would be nice but...
