Could Be Over

Stopped by Wednesday around 7, a bit later than my usual time and man was it depressing. Barely anyone even there, and the dancers were phew not great to say the least. A solo Cuban chick cruising was one of the few decent ones even worth a dance. Hell even the waitresses were off on their service, despite the one middle eastern looking one being the best piece in there. Stayed for about 30 min hoping (praying?) it would get better and it did NOT. By far the worst showing HL has had in the 4 regular years I've been visiting. I get that it was a Wed, and the dead time for the day, but still you can usually find a few worth the time and $. Not this time.

Spent my 6.25 on a beer, and when it was gone so was I. Few dancers I saw were Candace, a blonde BBW (a first for HL, lower standards from new rules?), Missy Detroit who is my definition of FUGLY, Veronica a young teen mom looking small racked Latina in a white wife beater type top, Selena doing her massages, and one decent tatted spinner type with glasses who never approached. The last one was one of the maybe 3 I would have gotten dances with, the remaining 10 or less were just, well, depressing. Interested to see how HL survives the summer slump. Left for BSC around 7:30 (see other review)
