Beware The $20 Mimosas

I took an afternoon off recently and hit the Gold Club. I arrived around 1:30 and there were 4 dances working but soon the girls started streaming in. By 3 I would say there were at least a dozen dancers with a similar number of customers. I was approached fairly quickly by a tall young dancer. I spent some time with her and got a couple dances which were definitely not much to write home about. I thought the rule was once you were finished with the dances the girl left but this one didn't. I got up to get another drink and she went to the bathroom. After she came out she walked back over to me. I finally had to tell her I was going to talk with another dancer that was sitting at the bar. That was a new experience to me.

The second dancer is a regular there...very pretty, good conversation, very elegant lady. Her dances are decent but again I don't know that I would repeat if there were other options.

I like to stand at the bar and get a drink when I first enter the club and I will usually offer to buy a drink for the dancer. At GC the drinks aren't that expensive..generally in the $6-8 range for beer or liquor. On this visit the dancer ordered a mimosa which I thought a little odd for a strip club. The mimosa was $20! Just a heads up for my fellow travelers.
