Guys Night Out

Visited No.5 again on my monthly guys night out and again it didn't disappoint. Came here after happy hour at a nearby restaurant and arrived around 7pm. Cover was $10, and included the standard ID scan and pat down. Usually bottles of Canadian or Dos Equis are on special for $5.75. Because it was still early, and no Canucks game on, tables were available just off of the stage. The four of us grabbed a table and ordered a round of beers. The stage dancers always put on a good show. We lucked out and the first girl ended her set in the famous No. 5 shower.

One other girl in the 5 dancer rotation used the shower as well. The odd thing about No. 5 is that the stage girls don't usually walk the floor for private dances, after they finish their set. I do see some from time to time but more often then not, I can never find them after they hop off the stage. The floor girls are regulars, haven't seen many new faces in my last 5 or so visits. They are nice enough and usually take a friendly "no" quite well. As mentioned in other reviews, at $50 a pop, it's very hard to pony up for a private dance, unless you find that special one. Quick story that put a sour note on our evening. One of our buddies, who doesn't come with us all the time, bought my other buddy 2 dances. He gave the dancer a $100 and asked for 2 dances.

Long story short, when my other buddy came back from his dance, he told us he only got 1 dance, not 2. They found the dancer a few minutes later and she claimed she danced for 2 songs. We later concluded that she started her first dance with like 30 seconds left in the first song and then did her second dance. A lot of blame to go around here though. First, that was a dirty move by the dancer, starting at the end of a song ... she knew what she was doing.
