Worth A Look

I will first frame this review by explaining although I love TJ I don’t always love the busyness and smokiness of HK. I often spending time sitting with a girl at Adelitas when HK gets crazy. Afternoons at Hong Kong can be productive but on this day I wanted to recharge so I went out the back entrance and tried a couple other spots that had good reviews on other sites.

La Malquerida, it was said had some of the better looking dancers, so I tried the club first. I would have to say, the dancers are indeed better looking here. There were 6 or 8 dancers and slightly fewer patrons. It’s about half the size of HK and there is a mezzanine level that was unoccupied. I think the club is more of a dance club at nights but in the daytime it has a nice relaxed vibe. Beer and girl drinks are about the same price as Adalitas.

On this day I sat with a girl for 30 to 40 minutes, had a beer and bought her a drink. She got very handsy in one of the booths trying to convince me to stay. The girl I talk to at least have pretty decent English skills and I enjoyed the conversation. I think any TJ visitor from this site would do well to check out the club when Hong Kong gets too intense and you can’t find what you’re looking for at Adelitas.
