Horrid Night At The Frog

So it was St. Patrick's day, and after going to a concert in the evening, I decided to extend the night and go visit the Frog. Big Mistake! So first of all, you may not know that Louisville / New Albany had major flooding over the last few weeks. So I get to the Frog, walk in, and the entire main level is cordoned off for renovation. Come to learn they had about 2 feet of water on that floor.

So they created a temporary space upstairs. So upstairs I went, paid the $7 or so cover, and then sat down. The first thing I noticed is there were basically no girls. One girl on stage, and one girl roaming around. That was it. For probably 15 guys or so. Usually, this place has a lot of girls, but I guess given the circumstances (flooding, etc.) there weren't many. I grabbed a beer and tipped at the rail for a bit in the hope more girls would magically appear. One more did, and she was actually kind of nice, but wasn't interested in me at all. Her loss. Dances would have totally sucked because they are in the same area, with just some half ass curtains covering the area. I'm sure whomever thought this all was a good idea said "Wow, that looks kind of nice, doesn't it?" I'll answer that question: Nope, it doesn't.

So I stayed for maybe 15 minutes. The reason for writing this review is to warn any of you in the Louisville/New Albany area that until the Frog is back in business with the main level redone, this place is loserville. Maybe I just came on a bad night, but it was really bad. My descriptions can't even really do it justice.
