Trying To Be Upscale

So i’ve been to the Golden Banana many times over the past 20 years. I’d been many times prior to them closing down, and a few times since reopening many years ago. The old club had a much more laid back vibe. The new one is trying to be more upscale. It’s definitely much nicer inside than it used to be. The location is always weird for me as it’s out behind a gas station. Not where you think an upscale place would be.

The drinks are typical value. Stick with beer, as you’ll get the most for your money. Made the mistake of ordering a mixed drink and almost choked when I realized what I was paying.

The talent seems consistently solid. Not much diversity. I recommend sitting at the stage and just enjoy the show. Little to no mileage will be had here. Private dances seem like a waist of money as there is no privacy.
