Meh.

I decided to give Scarlet's another shot. Six or seven years ago I regularly enjoyed Hollywood, but it went into a sharp decline the past few years and I was hopeful the new management would return it to it's former glory. That hasn't happened.

Arrived around 8:30 PM. $10 cover. I got an bottled IPA for $3.25. It was later announced that Thursdays are 1/2 price drinks, so I guess they normally charge $6.50 for a bottle of beer. The club hasn't significantly been remodeled since the change. Still garish neon pinks, orange, and blue with tons of blacklights creating a tacky glow. The club chairs are really showing wear and the blacklights accentuate the white stuffing exposed on the chair arms. As has been mentioned before the porn Tv's are now sports. They had a huge big screen showing the hockey game and that got my attention most of the time I was there. The insane constantly buy another drink policy of the old club is thankfully gone.

There were eight dancers on while I was there. The type seem to skew toward young and natural. Four of the girls were thin blonds with A or B cup. One brunette similarly built. Two thicker AA dancers. One Latina that was chunky with big tits that worked the floor, but I never saw her take a rotation on the stage. I don't know if Scarlet's should still be listed as a nude club. The dancers didn't do the clothed, topless, nude three dance sets. Some would pull their g-string aside for a flash. I had tried Scarlet's shortly after the change and I am glad that some the polices after the takeover have been eased. I was glad to see the old style stage tipping was back. The dancers would get down on the drink rail or briefly in your lap to show appreciation. Some encouraged groping on the stage. It was suggested that VIP dances would be higher mileage than previous experiences, but since I didn't see anything I wanted, I can't verify.
