Just Right
I have been coming to the Rhino off and on for the last 5 years, and this last visit was surprisingly better. Gone is the cramped club of the past, with the expansion completed. Too many bars, and dark quiet places to count. What I was really surprised with was the higher mileage of the $20 dances on the main floor. This was on a Thursday in the middle of convention season, so I expected things to be jumping. With the old space, it would have been cramped, but with new, club only seemed half full. Girls were plentiful and varied as usual, with more willing to start with the $20 dance rather then saying they only do VIP or 3 for $100. I tried a handful of dances on the floor to start, and they were better than in the past... was allowed to touch within reason, and bouncers did not pay any mind (there were plenty of them as usual). I don’t know if this is new policy, or just a slower night in general.
Also, recommend you try to get your dances in the non smoking lounge area (area just in front of main entrance). Appears to be a quieter room, no smoking, and less foot traffic to bother you.
Drinks were expensive as usual, $20 for single Macallan 12, ouch.
