Still The Same

I returned to Des Moines a couple weeks ago, and decided to go to The Lumberyard for the night with a couple of friends. I have visited the place once or twice a year for the last 10+ years and little has changed (which is good and bad).

This is a favorite location to sit back and enjoy the show. They always seem to have the hottest dancers in Iowa, but due to the fact that I don't visit regularly, it is like playing the lottery with a private dance. Seems as if the younger crowd showed up in force the night I was there and it chased a lot of the dancers away with the lack of tipping.

On the good side, got to meet a couple of girls that were visiting the club with their friends and sat next to my group. I truly enjoed it when the dancers got each of them on stage and played with them for a few moments. Each dancer got a few extra dollars and the girls got free beers from our stash.
