Boldly Going Where Many Men Have Gone....
I visited Follies again last Saturday. I always plan on going but it is such a hassle of a drive. I live about an hour north of Atlanta. It seems whether weekend or weekday, there will be traffic. I always try to visit early in the day and snatch myself a seat. A seat can be a very valuable commodity. I got there shortly after they opened and snagged a corner area at the main bar. I drank and sat and waited like a big ole spider in a web, trying to get an attractive girls attention. Some of the women are foreign and not much for conversation. Some are really gross.
Some want $5 just to talk for a minute...It is so noisy, it is hard to talk anyways. I read somewhere that in noiser bars, people sip more and end up drinking more. That's why a noisy bar is good for business. Shortly, the place was packed. I got some dances right on my stool. I grabbed a blonde (my favorite flavor) and she had creative ways of grinding around the stool. It's always akward when so packed as I am getting down with a hottie with people all around me. In some instances I bump against the dude right next to me and apologize. He was getting a full on show and not having to pay a cent. I'm not sure what they could do to make it less packed.
I know it is good business for them but, I was uncomfortable...I was somewhat grossed out, thinking about all the germs and a lot of people still have the flu. I wondered if all the closeness and contact of humans at follies spread around the flu virus. I bolted before 2pm as it was way packed. Sometimes, Follies can just be a fun and done situation. Next time, I should wear a surgical mask (or maybe a Fema suit) to protect me from the germs and smoke... Maybe, I will hit there on a weekday. I'm really looking for a cute college type but, you rarely find a girl next door type at the strip clubs...
