Another Chapter Of
After having stayed away for a couple months, tried a return visit to HL last week. Made it in about 2 PM, parking lot and club both packed. Whatever boycott TUSCL members may have going on with HL, that certainly doesn't seem to apply to the general public. Every table filled, finally managed to find a spot at the worst table in the place" the far corner table in the back by the "kitchen" area. At least it gave a great field of view for what was happening in the club. While VIP appeared busy (dancers going in and out consistently), there were never more than 2-3 dances going on tableside. A lot of new talent, some seemed quality, more seemed "eh" until finally an old fave appeared. Didn't even bother with a table dance for warm-up, just straight to VIP. 4 songs and done.
Went back yesterday (3/10) again, this time a bit earlier (noon-ish). Club was quiet, few dancers either in play or even onstage. DJ played more break songs in the first hour than I've seen in years. Finally dancers and customers started showing up. For those who have read this far, I have some potentially exciting news. The main manager behind the club's attitude shift towards banning floor mileage (and the reason behind many dancers leaving HL altogether) walked out Friday after an argument about another dancer. He's gone, and mileage may start ticking upwards again. Happy days may be here again, but, as Winston Wolf wisely counseled, "Let's not go sucking each other's dicks just yet."
In other news, what's the deal with Ariel? She's a very pretty, tall and slender mixed race dancer with beautiful curly hair. wears black thigh boots with six inch heels, and let's you know when she's on stage by pounding said boots into the floor. And when she was onstage she provoked a crowd reaction rarely seen in Hi-Liter. One, then another, and then another and then a few more dutifully wandered up to the stage to pay homage to her by tipping her, and often with multiple bills. That does not happen at this club, especially on day shift. Even after all that, when she came down, she basically just laps around the club without bothering to stop to ask any PL's for a dance (including those who tipped her). In the middle of one of her laps, she spotted someone who I guess was a regular and disappeared into VIP with him. I've seen her before and never managed to get her attention. Please PM me of you have details you'd care to share about her VIPs.
