Don't Bother

I visited The Cherry on my last trip to Huntsville and was thoroughly underwhelmed. I had no intention of going back, but I was at Visions, which was closed during my last trip, and the two clubs share a parking lot, so I decided to check out The Cherry again after leaving Visions at about 10:00 p.m. I shouldn’t have bothered.

The cover charge was $5, taken by a somewhat cute door girl. I was soon to learn that she was by far the best looking girl in the club. Inside, there were about a half-dozen girls working, all AA except for one white girl, ranging in looks from 2 to 6, but weighted heavily toward the lower end of the scale.

I sat at the bar and ordered a beer (normal pricing, about $4-$5, can’t remember exactly). I was approached pretty quickly by the white girl, who from a distance didn’t look horrible, but as she got closer, she looked worse and worse. She actually had a somewhat decent, fit looking body, but she had the face of middle-aged crack whore, and had a strong southern twang. Not the southern drawl that sounds cute on some girls, but a twang that said uneducated hillbilly. She got close to me, immediately grabbed by crotch, and suggested we go to VIP. No way. I shooed her away, managed not to spit up my beer as I watched some of other dancers rotate onto the stage, and left, never to return.
