Disappointed

Went in for happy hour while visiting Tampa on biz. I had read up on the day shift and was hoping to catch a good run here. I parked at the hotel in back and hoped my car would be there when I left hours later. Well I walked in and was told by the front door chick that there weren't too many girls in yet but there were a few. Crap. Ok. I go in anyway.

There were three girls at the bar. No one on stage. One chick talking. VERY LOUDLY About her travels and living in Chicago. Wouldn't you know it I'm from there. So I was listening to her drone on about SS to some middle aged PL.

Ordered a drink. Makers and diet was about $12 if I remember. Bartendress was cute. You know how it goes. She was probably the best looking one there at the time. So up walks a dark skinned spinner AA not my type but very well spoken and very well traveled. Started chatting with her and she went up on stage. At that point is when I decided it was just too dead for me and decided to jet. I tipped the girl on stage before I left and called it.
