Pleasant Surprise

I was in LV for a few days for work and had a meeting finish a little earlier than expected. I had about 3 hours to kill before I needed to be at the airport and was thinking about hitting up a club I hadn't been to before. I've only been to Palomino in LV before and had a great time, including OTC, and was pretty sure HC wasn't going to rise to that level, but it was near the airport, so I decided to call for the club shuttle/limo thing. About 25 minutes later the party bus marked Hustler showed up at my hotel to pick me up. We got the club and got searched at the door rather thoroughly.

Got into the club and it was pretty slow, but it was only like 3pm. Big space, nicely decorated. Several stages, but only one in use when I was there. The bathrooms are an interesting layout. The sink area is shared between the women's and men's and is outside both bathrooms. I went up to the bar and was told that it was open bar until something like 6 or 8pm. Well drinks and most domestic beers were free. I opted for a shot of well whiskey, not great, and a bottle of Stella. Tipped $2, but no charge beyond that. A tall boy of Pabst would set you back $1, before tip. I went back frequently and always got quick and friendly service, including when I asked for a double of tequila and the tarbender said I couldn't do that but then brought me one, told me to drink it, and promptly set down another.

Anyway, I sat down a little ways from the stage and two girls came and sat with me right away. They really weren't my type but the one who plunked down in my lap was funny and engaging. I separated myself for them after a while and watched some shows at the rail. I thought the dance prices were like $20 on the floor and higher in the VIP, but the first pair asked for double that each. Fuck that. However, they did say that if we went to VIP, it was like $150 for 15 minutes, for each of them, but that since there were two of them, it would last for a half hour. That's stripper math. If they'd been my type, I would have taken that.
