The Pussycat Lounge is the last of the old neighborhood bars in Downtown Manhattan near the World Trade Center site. It is nothing special - just a long bar with girls dancing behind it. The girls are mostly average. However, the Club is a welcome relief from all the high priced and high pressure Clubs in Manhattan. Republican Mayor Guiliani got rid of most of the neighborhood strip clubs, and then Republican Mayor Bloomberg and his Billionaire's Club replaced them with Gentlemen's Clubs that are looking to grab your American Express card and "bang you hard" with a bill upwards of a thousand dollars!

Another plus is that upstairs is a rock-n-roll club so on the weekends you can switch back and forth between the tittie bar and the live rock club.
