Quick Visit, Wrong Day

Visited on a Friday from 4:30-5:30. Free parking, no cover, $4.00 for bottled water at the bar. As others have said, this is really a neighborhood bar with strippers, and the strippers seem to hang with regulars.

As a first time visitor, this was possibly the worst day and time to check this place out, but I was in the neighborhood and curious. It was on a day when there was a Nor'easter/Bomb Cyclone that hit the upper East Coast. Other areas were hit harder than Philly, but there were a few inches of heavy, wet snow here whipped sideways by 60 mph winds, and traffic was badly snarled across the entire metro area. I'm assuming that was why there were only two (and later, three) girls working to service the handful of PLs that were sitting around the bar. Sometimes there was a dancer on stage, and sometimes there wasn't. The music was all classic rock, which I find an oddity in strips clubs these days, but the sound system was great and it was nice hearing songs I've loved for a long time. Unfortunately, that's not why I came.

I did take one of the girls back for a dance, which was $30 for 4 minutes in a single cubicle. Kind of pricey, but she did get fully nude, and allowed full hand and mouth access everywhere. Apparently, extras are available, as I was offered her hand for an extra $40 or her mouth for an extra $80. I declined, but it was good intel to tuck away for future use. I might come back someday, but not during a very sad Friday happy hour in the middle of a bomb cyclone.
