Had To Check Again

This is a follow up to my last review of Ricks. My last visit was a little better than expected so I thought I’d see how things were after the Super Bowl had left town.

I was met by a door lady for the mandatory coat check. There was no cover for the afternoon. One thing I found a little disconcerting is that when I asked about how the dance options worked as far as pricing and length of time, she said she didn’t know and would have to check with the manager. The door lady looked like a stripper and, at the time was greeting customers so I would think she could tell patrons how the club worked. She may have been honest though because my visit was shortly after the super bowl and I think the downtown clubs, including Ricks, had jacked up their prices for the game.

I did find the stripper working who I got good floor dances from before. Unfortunately, she gave me the same response about having to check with the manager about VIP or extended time dances. I know from past experience that the cost goes up considerably from the standard $20 floor dances and that was before any super bowl price increases. So I enjoyed a couple of the $20 dances from her, finished my drink and left.
