Wait, “nipples & Nibbles”? Ok, I’ll Bite.

I get to Philadelphia for a few days once a year for work, and I always stop at the Playhouse Lounge just across the river in New Jersey. I was checking the Entertainers' Schedule online to see when Crystal and Gypsy would be working and noticed that they – along with about ten other girls – were on the schedule for Friday at 7:00 a.m. At first, I thought it was a typo, and then I saw where it said "Nipples and Nibbles, bar opening at 7 a.m.! Stop in for coffee and lite bites." Being the early riser (and serious monger) that I am, I decided that this was for me.

Walked in about 7:30 Friday morning, and the place was, well, not jumping, but there was certainly a nice vibe going on. I won't describe the place itself or the dance set-up (see TFP's recent, absolutely fabulous, review for that), but it was like being there on a moderately busy afternoon. Free parking, no cover, $5.00 for bottled water, and free coffee and pastries (the "nibbles"). Turns out that they have been doing Nipples and Nibbles the first Friday of every month since September.

Unfortunately, I was told that Crystal was out with a cold and Gypsy had a doctor's appointment that morning, but I met Mercedes, Katia, Roxy, Cayenne, Leticia, April and a few others. I stayed until about 10:00 and got dances from a number of the girls. Could have had a happy ending with any of them, but I held out (took a lot of control) until just before I was ready to leave before going the distance. I've been to a lot of strip clubs in my day, but going at 7 in the morning was an eye-opener, to say the least. Would repeat.
