Standard Palomino

Been here, who knows, maybe 30 times it feels like. Quite a lot for an out-of-stater. I’ve tried all the worthwhile clubs in Vegas, Palomino remains my favorite.

I was there a couple weeks back. My feeling was that they were still not quite past the slow season and into convention season, but getting there. Slightly less desperation in the air from my November trip.

Decided this time to buy a bottle instead of only individual drinks, seeing as this time I was there with a few buddies. The bottles (two) didn’t last long with my cheap ass friends and some strippers, but the manager gave me the local deal on a bottle ($200) instead of $350 or so that I saw on the price list. Only problem was that for whisky I was limited to Jack Daniels and... that’s it. I prefer Jameson but oh well.
