Unusually Slow

I’ve been to this club quite a few times over the years, afternoons, evenings and late nights. It’s usually slower most afternoons compared to evenings, but today was a little extreme. There are only two dancers in the house, one of whom I chatted with a little bit and the other who just made an occasional appearance during the half hour I was there drinking a couple beers. The dancer I talked to was nice enough, and cute, but just not my type. She offered to help me take advantage of the 3 for $50 couch dance special they were running, but I opted out.

There were a couple of other guys around the bar, and no girls onstage. A couple of bikers came in after while and sat and talked at the bar as well, seemed like nice guys. The bartender was actually very cute and definitely my type. I enjoyed talking with her and would love to have a dance from her if the opportunity ever presented itself. After a couple of beers I said my goodbyes and headed out.
