Club Closed When It Should Have Been Open
On my recent tour of D.C. clubs this one held the most promise. A bit farther out, in fact I took a $12 taxi ride to get here, but the promise of some even faint hands on action made it a must stop.
Unfortunately, I relearned a valuable lesson. When I got there at 5:30 pm the club was closed up. I had trusted TUSCL info that the place opened at 4:00 pm Sunday's and when I got there it was locked up. Calling the club generated no recording or any other Intel and there was no info on the door stating hours either. Only a sign for the House and a advertisement for their Mardi Gras Celebration.
It is in a not so nice area of town so I didn't want to stick around until after dark so I hopped the first city bus that came along and headed back downtown. Sheesh, lesson learned.
