It has been a while since...

It has been a while since I have been in Boston. The town is great. The strip clubs are not. We went to Centerfolds on a Thursday night. There was a large crowd. After paying the 20$ cover. We were told that we could go to the top level. Drinks were 8$ each. All that we could do on the top level was stand around an overlook. All seats were reserved for people who were not there yet. Remember this is a high cover, and high drink prices to stand a floor above the dancers. You are not even on the same level as the dancers. After a brief, but firm discussion about misrepresentation at the club entrance, we were given seats on the main floor. There was NO drink service. Every drink we bought we had to go to the bar for. There was NO interaction with the dancers. You could see them on the stage but they did not come to the floor and talk to anyone. Overall, stay away from Boston for this type of entertainment. There is so much else to do in this town. You will have more fun, and probably more action, buying drinks at one of the many local bars.
