Sinclair's Review
I went to Wise Guys on a Friday night around 21:00. There was a $7 cover charge. The cover is also honored across the street at Cheeks on Friday and Saturday nights. Both clubs are under the same ownership. A Sincweiser was $6. The club was dead. I was only one of two customers at one point, and there were never more than four patrons at any given time. The club is a large rectangular room. There is a small stage in the middle that was only sporadically used. A bar is on the far right end. There is renovation happening on the far left end. Tables are spaced far apart and the club seems very empty. The music was one hundred percent hip hop, dialed up off of a jukebox. Smoking is allowed inside, so prepare to leave smelling like an ashtray.
There were seven dancers working when I entered. Three were white, three were black, and one was mixed. All of the dancers were overweight, except for one black dancer and one white dancer. The chocolate dancer approached me. She was 23, slim, covered in tattoos, had pierced tits, and was in decent shape for having a kid at 18. She had recently come over from Roxy’s. The vanilla dancer disappeared shortly after I arrived. She either went to the dressing room or left. She was brunette, slim, and had a tattoo on her upper left arm. She seemed to be on some type of drugs, but was still the cream of a poor crop. The ebony was a 5, the ivory was a 6, and the rest of the line-up was in the 1 to 3 range. That is being very generous.
Table dances are $10. Couch dances are $20, but the bartender wants $10 rent for use of the couch. The VIP room is $50 to the house and however much you want to tip the dancer for negotiated services. It seems you can do whatever you want short of sex out on the main floor. And in the VIP rooms, you can enjoy a three hole menu. Some servers even offer a creampie dessert.
