Not For Everyone, But Right Up My Alley.

Re-reviewing since it's been a couple years and a change in management. The Cafe was the first nude establishment I'd ever been to and I was in a bit of tit-shock last time. Short story: I still love this place. It's not for all tastes but is worth checking out if you have the opportunity.

ATMOSPHERE: The Cafe Rique is not like other clubs, and for me that's great. Theres no alcohol and no smoking. I hate smoky bars so this is fine. The lights aren't too dark and the music isn't too loud. If you like the hopping club scene this place isn't for you. The clientele is more truckers and blue collar workers and less frat dudes and business guys.

It's laid out partly like a strip joint and partly like a roadside diner, since it's both. The best part of the club is sitting at the tip rail has the fully nude dancers practically right on top of you, your eye level right at their crotch level. If it's busy there's a secondary stage off to the side that looks similar. There's a jukebox, pool table, and a pole on the ground floor between the two stages but I don't see it occupied much. Off to one side there's a hall of semi-private (curtained) rooms for lap dances where you recline on a sort of almost horizontal padded seat. By the register there's a small rack of adult merchandise.
