The Winston-salem Average

Let's be honest here: Winston-Salem isn't the best city if you want to have fun at a strip club. There's a few great girls in town - although it feels like half of them bounce from club to club before splitting and heading elsewhere - but you can't really count on them being around whenever you show up. If you're alright with taking what's local instead of committing to the drive to Greensboro.. you could certainly do worse, I suppose.

The decor is nothing too amazing, but while clichéd for a club, it's nothing cheesy. Mirrors, neon, low lights. You've seen it before, and while Mirage might look "fancier", Filly's isn't anything overly ostentatious. Nothing that stands out, but nothing overly offensive.

None of the dancers seemed particularly happy to see me, but then again, I didn't exactly see anyone I was desperate to get a dance from, and I'm sure that showed. Mostly white girls that night, and a decent enough B-list. Next time I'll have to get a dance or three to report back on. The low lights probably helped a bit, but I didn't think the girls looked as bad as rumored. They were a bit pushy with drink sales, but that's not exactly uncommon either.
