A Slow Monday Morning
Crazy Horse III is one of several Vegas clubs open 24 hours a day. Being about 10:30 am and having just dropped off my business partner at the Convention Center, I decided on a little exploratory research. The club was easy to find, on the South side of Russell Road just West of I-15. In bright daylight it looked more like an abandoned K-Mart than a "gentlemen's club," but, whatever. Parked in the nearly empty lot, no charge, no valet.
It took a minute to decipher the entry signs (intended for the evening crowd). Inside, the hostess checked my ID and asked if I drove myself (yes); no cover (tossed a dollar in her jar). The main room was essentially empty; by the time I made my way to the bar, my headcount was four dancers, one other customer, a bartender and the bouncer/manager. Manager greeted me, we had a brief, pleasant conversation (a/k/a threat assessment), and I ordered a drink. Stage empty, juke box on autoplay, dark and quiet overall. A moment later I was joined by I****, a vivacious, attractive AA dancer. Initial conversation was good enough that I bought her a drink; her vodka and my whisky were $26, about what I have come to expect in Vegas.
I**** described the "entertainment" venues in the club, and based on the experience with her at the bar decided to go for 30 minutes in the main LD room for $200. My logic was, it was equivalent to 10 songs at 3 minutes and $20 each, without the annoyance of arguing about the song count. The only catch was it required two drinks, which I would have bought anyway. The "non-private" room was empty, just like the club; dances were about average for contact based on other LV club experience; I**** was very appealing and sensual.
