Too Early To Tell

I had spent Friday night in Charlotte, attended a business event on Saturday, and arranged my route to stop by Scores in Mooresville on my drive home. Unfortunately, the timing wasn't the best, as I had little choice but to stop by at 4:45; however, the website says they open at 4:00, so I figured *something* would be happening. Um, no, not so much.

Pulled into the huge parking lot and saw almost no cars. The sign said they were open, but there was no one at the front desk, so I just walked in – to a totally empty club. It's a huge place, two stories, very upscale, and probably the nicest and cleanest men's room I've ever seen in a strip club. I found my way to the bar, and there was a girl at the bar (not behind it) talking on her cell phone. Turns out she was the bartender, and she came over to ask me what she could get me (while still talking on her phone). I wasn't about to stay if there weren't any girls, so I just waited a minute until she finished her call. I asked her what the deal was, and she said they do open at 4:00, and from 4:00-7:00 you can get food and drinks and watch TV, but the girls don't come out until 7:00. When I told her I was only interested in the girls and didn't feel like waiting more than two hours to see any, she said there were a couple in the back and she could go ask them to come out. I said that'd be great.

Two girls came out, friendly and attractive. One got on the large stage and started dancing and the other came to chat with me at the bar. She was very nice, a good conversationalist, and just my type. One thing I found interesting is that from 4:00 until 7:00, the girls get to keep 100% of what they make for dances. She said floor dances were $10 and were air dances, no touch, and "contact dances" were $35 upstairs. There are also "time dances" which are $150 for 15 minutes, $300 for 30 minutes, and $500 for an hour. Since I wasn't really planning to stay long, I said "Let's go upstairs for a contact dance."
