Much Better Than Last Visit
We arrived on a Saturday evening this past weekend. As you come into the "club" its really mostly just a local dive bar. Decent sized bar with a lot of local guys hanging around it, mostly old dudes. The pool table is off to the left and the stage is in back to the right. I came to this club one other time (also a Saturday) and the place was completely dead. This time, had a better atmosphere. A few guys at the stage this time, about 8 at the most.
The girls were rotating out pretty well and giving a decent show. Most of the guys had a buck or two out. I didnt see any big spenders here. I was interested in how the private dances went, so I got one. You go to the bartender and tell him the name of the girl you want a dance with, he logs it in a notebook and gives you a chip with a number on it. Then get ahold of the dancer and you give her the chip at the begining of the song. Its a bit of an odd system, especially when after the song, the girl asks if you want another and she says its ok to take care of it later. I guess if they are getting the money up front, its harder to claim you didnt know what the cost of a dance was (which I have heard other patrons at some clubs claim).
The dance itself was decent. Nothing amazing, priced a little high at $35, but not completely unreasonable. Saw a bouncer there. There is no cover, but he was making himself shown by constantly pushing in chairs around the bar and stage. Other than that, I couldnt tell you why he was there. I dont expect this place to become a favorite, but it is literally in walking distance of another strip club in Groton, so that really does help. And it was much better than the last time we went there. I would mainly suggest to those who have not gone yet to expect a dirty, scary place, because that very much is its initial impression, but if there are decent girls in on your night, you might get to find out that the place really isnt too bad.
