Embarrassingly Slow
So I decided to head over to this place after work. Most clubs I’ve been to are at least a little bit lively around quitting time. Not so this place. After parking in a dirt lot in the back, I walked through the door into a deserted club. It’s pretty large, the a small bar immediately to the left, a room with a pool table to the right with a large stage dominating the center of the room. On the left side were four small stages with poles, surrounded by couches and had sheer curtains that could be drawn. I guess they were for semiprivate stage dances. The lap dance room was to the back right and the vip room was in the left corner. All in all, it didn’t look bad.
However, there was basically nobody in there. There was a customer at the bar talking to the one dancer (white, early 20’s, tatted, I’d give her a 3) in the place while she ate dinner. There was bartender but she only lasted a minute before the manager let her go home. I felt compelled to at least get a beer since everyone saw me walk in so I sat down, got a decently priced beer and drank it in awkward silence. Pretty uncomfortable experience. Maybe it’s better when it is lively but being as it’s in the sticks, I can’t imagine when that would be. Will never go back.
