Continuing slide into boring.
Finally I get back to Dallas with time to get a motel away from DFW and check out a club or three. I enjoyed this club before the name change and their current focus on Latina strippers. I was hoping that I would also enjoy the new theme.
I walked in about 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon, and the lady standing in front of the counter asked for an ID (but only glanced at it) before telling me to enjoy myself (she didn't ask for any cover). As I walked into the club area, it looked very much like the old club, except - there were very few people. I initially counted three dancers, one bartender, two waitresses and ONE other customer. Another customer walked in behind me, but that was the "crowd."
I asked about upstairs, but the waitress said the bar up there was closed today. I wasn't ready to give up, so I ordered a beer and found a seat. It took the waitress about five minutes to get my beer, but she returned with a smile and two bottles of what I ordered, so I gave her a $10 and waived off the change.
