40 minutes, 40 bucks

I had not been to the Millstream Inn since last Summer, but had the opportunity for a brief visit earlier today. Had hoped to spend longer, but it turned out to be 40 minutes. Total cost was $40. No dances, just two BOGO Miller Lites and stage/tip-walk tips. Dances are still two for one on Saturday afternoon, but I did not partake. They were barely hinted at, actually, and entry-level dances in the past have not been that great. I think you've got to get a room/cabana/stall/whatever to get a better dance at the Millstream, but other reviewers can chime in on that.

Arrived around 3:00pm and found a decent crowd - less than ten customers and about six dancers. At first I was a bit underwhelmed, but things improved quickly. Two reasons for that. First, some of the dancers were not out circulating. Second, some of the dancers, who first appeared a bit thicker than I normally like, looked a lot better on stage. I've commented before about how my taste in dancers has changed over the years. Long story short, accepting of more diversity of size and shape has resulted in more fun during a club visit. And I don't mean that typical, chunky girls try harder thing... I do still have a favorite type, but I also just try to appreciate what the club is providing at the time. I have a better time when I do that.

Polly and Karmen were two new girls (to me, anyway). Both a bit thicker, but they carry themselves well, and were pretty and personable. I need to check for them on the posted schedule... Phoenix looked familiar and spent most of her stage time talking to one guy at the stage. For both of the stage calls that I saw. They seemed to be talking about tattoos, and Phoenix has some nice ones, but I would have rather watched her dance. Another customer commented on this to me, so I wasn't the only disappointed one. In addition to her tattoos (on a rocking body), Phoenix is a curly brunette, which is a weakness of mine.
