Follies in Nov

Knowing ANOTHER follies review will not provide much new insight, my limited clubbing lately leaves me limited options. Here are thoughts / observations from a late November visit- apologies in advance if I’m repeating the obvious.

I get to follies maybe 3 -4 times a year, and was not expecting much given the rash of bad reviews at the time. Here are a few observations:

Club:

So arriving at about 6:30 pm on a Saturday eve, I was hoping to catch a lull in between day and night crowds. No such luck. There was a line about 20 deep, which I thought wasn’t bad. But- there was also a steady stream of big black dudes in very expensive cars pulling up and walking straight in. So, now that they limit capacity in the club - it’s much better when you are inside during busy hours, but expect to not just show up and get in anymore - unless you are early.
