Not much going on here….

So after a bit of a disappointing time in a club down the street I decided to stop in to this club. Maybe a dozen cars on the street so thought that there might be something going on inside. Opened the door and noticed that some things never change. Where the doorman usually sits and takes the cover charge, $5.00 this night, there were takeout containers up on the window ceil. No one sitting there so went on in. Just a couple steps in and the doorman walked over and asked for the cover, no problem. Looking over the club it was almost empty. Dancer was on stage to the left with a pole in the center of the stage. Bar is on the right almost the entire length until you get to the restrooms. So decided to sit down at the bar. It was almost 10:30 PM and there were maybe 8 customers bar tender, owner and doorman. Only two dancers that I could see in the front. Might have been some more in back?

Bartender said they were running shot specials. Five dollars for a normal shot and $10 for a double. I am not a fan of just doing shots so got a double and asked her to put some ice in it, so she gave me a rock glass. The display behind the bar is nice and it shows that they must go through a lot of rum and whiskey. Must have been 12-15 bottles of different run and same amount of different whiskeys.

Dancer came off stage after a few dances and walked right over and sat down next to me. Introduced herself as ‘Beautiful’ and how was my night going? Started with a little chit chat since there was not much else to do and the two large screens had a replay of the earlier Cleveland Cav’s game on. Beautiful informed me that things did not start to pick up until at least midnight. Said that other dancers should start showing up around then as well. Until then, there were only two and the one had not been on stage for the hour that I was there. Decided she was probably right and was not going to wait around in hopes that some additional dancers might show up so decide to cut my losses for the second time in the night and try and hit another club.
