I went to Temptations on a Friday night around 19:00. The strip club had not been reviewed in fourteen months, so I thought I better check it out. Temptations is a pole barn in the hamlet of Winterhaven, just across the Colorado River from Yuma, Arizona. Temptations is a juice bar with full nudity. There is a $20 cover, which includes a ticket for your first soda. Additional drinks are $5. There is a three foot tall main stage in the back of the main room. The wall behind the stage is mirrored. There are 9-10 tables taking up the space and a small bar on the wall that is opposite the stage. The two other walls have booths built along them made of curtains.

They do offer a fair amount of privacy, and it appeared there were no cameras that had vantages into these “lap dance room”. There is also a small room you walk through on the way to this main room that has some cubicles, but they were not employed during my visit. The club is lit in blacklight. The DJ system is automated and will call up dancers to the stage who have clocked in at given intervals. Beware the ATM only allows a maximum withdraw of $200 per swipe and charges a $10.25 fee per withdraw.

Topless lap dances are $20. Nude lap dances are $40 or three for $100. A half hour of nude dances was $300. If you buy the three for $100 or the half hour, the curtains get closed across the doorway for the most privacy. If you go for a cheaper option, the curtains stay open. Contact seems to be two-way. Dancers seem to dance on the stage for two songs, then hide in the dressing room. Occasionally, one will come out to offer lap dances or to get a drink at the bar. There were intervals where there would be no dancers performing on stage and no dancers working the floor. Naturally, one might start to look at their smartphone, but cell phone use is not allowed inside the club. One can only use their device in the lobby or outside.
