Had a fine (if brief) time...

Had a fine (if brief) time at Rick's early on a Saturday night (arrived around 9:00). Not crowded at all--the girls agreed it was unusually slow for a Saturday night. Had a great dance from Mika (who taught me the coaster trick: if you go off for a dance, leave your coaster on top of your glass, and the waitresses won't clean it up and lose your seat). Got a great shoulder rub (hard massage) while I was watching the show from a girl who seemed astonished that I'd give her a $20 tip for that.

Attractive girls. I probably saw about 15 (not all dancing, some just on the floor). Not a bowser in the bunch. Lots of offers for private dances, because that's how they make their money here--there's no tipping on stage at all. But nobody was pushy: I just said "I'm having a good time watching the show", and they'd move on.

I'd give a higher rating except for a cover charge fiasco: I asked if I could go out to visit an ATM and come back, and they said I'd have to pay the cover again. Let me understand, I said. I want to go out and get money so I can come back and spend it on your drinks and your girls, and you're going to make me pay the cover again? On a night when the club isn't even half-full? Yep, that's the rule. So I went out to an ATM, but I paid the cover at Deja Vu just up the road instead.
