Gone Downhill Fast

What an awful place this was this time. Just lousy. And I brought a buddy who hadn't been to a strip club for quite a while, and certainly won't be back hear any time soon.

A disappointing visit began with being hit up with a midafternoon cover charge. Only five bucks, and not encouraging. Also a sign on the guy's table saying "Entry fee Tonight $20.00". The place hadn't exactly been pulling in drivetime crowds without a cover charge, so god knows who thought this would help business.

Most of the Xmas decorations were still hanging from the ceiling, a month later. The bar area seemed brighter than usual, but the stage area was darker. And if you weren't sitting right at the stage, it seemed like there was a blue lite shining in your face no matter where you sat. That didn't get more guys up to the stage though. Just sitting at the bar instead.
