Spearmint Rhino is really two clubs in one place.....

Newly renovated, world class facilities, huge. Lots of safe parking in front. They serve food 24 hours a day - and their specials are inexpensive and first rate (how can you beat a fantastic burger and fries along with a Bud for $5?). Pat down to get in. I drove myself around 4:00 p.m. and there was no cover charge.

Talking with the dancers was clear that the management has a rating system - 'weekday' dancers and 'weekend' dancers. Weekday dancers have to clear out after about 9:00 p.m. and can only work at the club on certain days; the 'weekend' dancers have full privileges and can work anytime they want.

The reason I titled this review 'two clubs in one place' is that the whole tone of the place is one way in the afternoon and a completely different way after 9:00 p.m. The evening shift dancers were seriously aggressive and clearly there to pump as much money out of my wallet as they could - most will only do VIP dances and are *very* reluctant to do floor dances ($20). The pressure from most was quite intense and if they don't get what they want they took off in a huff. Very consistent.
