Afternoon in Gastonia

I took another trip to Gastonia recently as it had been awhile since my last one. The bartender wanted my driver's license because she said she had to scan it. That was a new twist but she let me slide since I had left it in the car. None of the other MAL clubs require that so I'm not sure what's different about Gastown.

There were 4 dancers this particular day, which sometimes is a lot for this club during the day. The last time I was there, only 2 dancers were working. It was a Thursday so VIPs were 2 for $30, although few customers were partaking. Miller Lites are $3 on Thursday so there was value there. There was one very pretty dancer there, but I have gotten dances from her in the past and they are pretty lame. She never left the bar area to even ask anyone for a dance....I guess she makes her $ somehow. I ended up hanging with one of the veterans and had a fun time catching up. As I've always said about this place, go in with low expectations and you will have a decent time.
