Philly Mainstay

Delilah's is sort of sets the standard for clubs in Philly, in my view. The club is big, with a long stage, stairs coming down to the stage from the second floor, which dancers descend to begin their set, bartenders at each end of the stage, and top-notch lights and sound. The club has a regular lap dance room off to one side, as well as a few different, and pricier VIP options.

There is a variety of shapes, sizes and ethnicities among the dancers, but leaning toward younger, thinner, athletic and attractive. Lots of talent on the pole! Two dancers are "on duty" at any given time, one at each end of the stage, with a third dancer on "standby" at the bottom of the staircase. Each dancer is on stage for two songs, so there is a new dancer up, and one coming down, on every song. It's typical for girls to dance topless on the second of their two dances.

Going for the upscale vibe, the club is well staffed with waitresses and security, and there is a bathroom attendant on duty, at least in the evening (this particular visit was a weekday evening).
