Bad Day or Bad Time

I've always found Gold Club to be a reliable afternoon / happy hour kind of hangout -- to chill, have a couple of beverages, enjoy some scenery and get some entertainment. It's been a while since I've been here but man, the Friday happy hour / early evening visit this time was just about as bad as it could be. The selection of dancers was just awful. There were maybe a couple in the room that I'd even want to chat with - let alone get a LD from. Atmosphere too was just flat -- I think the room actually sucked the energy out of me. If this is a trend here I'll definitely have to find a new spot for sure.
