1st visit post-Platinum fire

Well Platinum Plus burned down. This visit was Thursday after the fire. The girls from both plus and west have merged into west. It was the first day for most dancers merged. In my opinion the merge went well this day. Plus girls enjoyed the greater privacy in the couch room. I only saw a few west girls. I think the stress level is hi for both sets of girls. Both clubs were hurting for dancers, West more so than Plus. The result is good dancer turn out and good customer turnout. Couch rooms had a steady 1-3 dances ongoing at any one time.

My big disappointment is that new owners have instituted counting dances and charging the girls $5per dance. The girls and are passing the $5 on to the customers (in and of itself no big deal really) but that has also discouraged volume dance pricing I have been able to negotiate before. Most annoyingly though is the need to count the f’ing dances! It’s annoying to me, the dancer, and the poor hostess that draws the short straw and has to be the counter and money taker from the girls. I much preferred (and so did the dancers I spoke to) negiciating our own dance price. I hope the house fees for the girls have dropped in light of this, but I don’t know and didn’t ask.

Overall, I had a really good visit. The added variety was the biggest sell for me. I got more dances than I had planned with plenty of good lookers and decent mileage with most of the girls. Bouncer did walk through the couch room occasionally, but was not disruptive to the fun.
