Wrong time of day

Well I tried Dollie’s again. This time around 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon. There was a couple dollar cover charge taken at the door by the elderly door man that always there and ready to discuss the game of the day. There were probably 4 dancers that I saw and about the same amount of patrons so everyone seemed to be settled in at the bar. I stayed for one beer and only one dancer made an attempt to talk - she was probably a six AA dancer that was a bit older.

It seemed like she was making one last sweep of the place before she left. I think that I was there at a bad time - everyone was settled in and I didn’t see anyone dancing so I just stayed for one beer. I’ll give it another try some other day. If your looking for a swank place with a lot of young talent this is not the place for you but if your looking for a laid back place where you can have a lot of fun on a budget Dollies might be for you.
