Disappointed
Over the years Gentleman's Club has to rank as one of my all time favorites but not this evening.
Arrived 9:45 PM. No cover, just tip the hostess ($10). Purchased a soft drink at the bar $3.50 plus tip. Club was dead, roughly five customers and the same number of dancers. All the dancers were standing or hanging out at a table near the bar. Being the time of day, I expected to see ladies on stage and positioned myself at a table that I've frequently inhabited.
No dancers on stage. All the dancers remained at a table near the bar and didn't seem to be interested in working. Waited there alone an half an hour and not a single entertainer approached me. No one on stag and no one wanting to work. What I find interesting is the commonality of dancer complaints is that making money is tough which I find somewhat humorous when there is not enough work ethic to even try. After an half of hour of nothing I got up to leave. Passing by the table where the ladies were sitting, I glanced and really didn't see anything that particularly interesting anyways. Except for the bar and hostess tip, the $400 budget stayed safe in my pocket. Their loss.
