Back in the day I used to pretty much just frequent Sugars and Ricks. But just before the big crackdown on Talents West, I decided to give this place a shot. I really didn’t much care for it—too much of the corporate vibe. Fast forward ten + years and I’m still avoiding it. However two weeks ago I was feeling a little restless, and thought I might have to swing by Pandora’s. I called first, and was very disappointed. No one working that I was even mildly interested in seeing. What to do? Research! The reviews on this club were actually better than Pandora’s, and were pretty good overall. I thought I’d give it a shot.

I got there about 9:00. Entrance and restrooms are in the same place, but everything else has changed. $20 cover and unlimited drinks. You are on your own to get it. Go find your own seat. Place was fairly crowded, but not packed. This place is way more laid back than it used to be. Back in the day every time a girl sat down with you a waitress would be right over to see if you wanted to buy her a ‘house’ drink. And sometimes they would pester you. I spent probably a good 30 minutes with dancers on my lap and never was approached by a waitress. When I was ready for a refill (club soda sheesh!), I had to go upto the bar. They only had two waitresses, and they were the hardest working people there. Seriously, between picking up the dancers stage money, taking back to them, and getting back to the bar to pour drinks, they were running. When I left I tipped the waitress I talked to when I got my two drinks because she ran her tail off.

The club is way nicer and WAY cleaner than Pandora’s. The bathrooms were spotless. When you walk in you can sit in front of the main stage or a back stage. If you sit facing the main stage, then the back stage is pretty hard to see and vice versa. The girls do two songs on one of the stages, but do not rotate from one stage to the next. Most of the girls were pretty friendly and mellow. No hard sell for a lap dance. The main lap area is directly in back of the back stage; you walk around it to get there. The booths are equivalent to the booths at Pandora’s minus the goobers that leer at you as they head in and out of the bathroom. There is a VIP area sort of where the old one used to be. In the old days the girls were always doing a hard sell to get you to take them back there. I bought multiple lap dances from several women and none of them mentioned the VIP area. I was there about 2.5 hours and saw only one guy and girl go into it.
